I love this product. It’s definitely an amazing buy. It does way more than I expected. Not only does it have LED lights but you can make the lights blink or move in synchronized motion. People see it and think I spent a fortune on it. and the different colored flames is great. This is the first product. Buy it you’ll love it!!!

I wish the assembly was offered more affordable, because it was a lot of work putting together. Turned out beautiful overall. I didn’t know there would be 3 separate shipments. I panicked when we only received one box at first. Overall, it is gorgeous and very slim. Will pair beautifully with my wall mounted TV.

Altogether, the TV stand comes in three boxes. The fireplace is in one box. The cabinet arrives in two boxes. The main part of the stand (top, bottom, sides, and back) are in one box. For this configuration, the front doors are in a second box (there’s another version that has open shelves instead of doors). It’s a bit complicated to assemble, but there’s a video that walks you through the process. I paid for the home assembly service and that was very helpful. I was frustrated that the fireplace/heater box arrived a week after the cabinet… and a week after the home assembly service. Customer service was very responsive and helpful. In the end, adding the fireplace/heater was a simple matter of placing it into the cabinet’s front opening… very simple. Despite the delivery snafu, the final result is stunning and everything I hoped it would be.

I have done quite a few assemblies on other furniture items, so this was very easy to put together. One important step was missing from the instructions. The glass on the front of the fireplace needs to be removed to attach the fireplace to main structure. Diagram points out WK screws on the side of the WKL Unit to be removed, but forgot about the two in the front opening (one by the On/Off button and one on the other side). The unit looks beautiful in the room and I am very pleased with the effect.

Unit was a snap to assemble. If you’ve put together any Ikea cabinets, you’ll find it a breeze too as it uses the same style fasteners. Biggest dilemma is getting the doors to click into their hinges. With 2 of us, it took a little over an hour to complete. Some tips:- Watch the you tube video for YORK fireplace media unit assembly all the way through once before assembling. It will give you the context that is hard to understand from the instructions. Only 6 minutes and we’ll worth it.- The light bulb icon on the remote switches the colors of the flames – there are 3 possibilities.- When removing the glass from the firebox, as one other reviewer noted, there are 6 screws: 2 on either side and one on either side of the top. (Watch the You tube video if you need help locating the top two.)Highly recommended.

We received the 3 boxes several days apart. Other than that delivery, the product was bit tricky to assemble as the video’s they provided on their site did not exactly match what needed to to be done. We are happy with the product quality and it is a great addition to our living room.

Total rip off. Not even worth $300 never mind $800 !! Wouldnt hold the weight of the doors. The hinges pulled right out of the particle board !! One board was cut wrong and then the whole thing was out of alignment. At the end the doors wouldn’t close. They were hitting the edges of the fireplace !! Looks good on the pics only !! Cheap as they come !!

Got stuck trying to get the glass off of the fireplace. Called the phone number and was told to get rough with it, wrong answer. Please note there are SIX screws holding it on, two are in the front that you need to reinstall after the assembly to the cabinet. The instructions and video show only 4 screws. There is a problem with the instructions assembling parts8/10. ( or 9/10). Review the video for that.

It looks nice in my living room, even though it had a little bump on the wood (I covered it with a case), but it does NOT provide enough heat. You have to sit right in front of it to feel anything. My electric fireplace that I purchased for my den from Home Depot 8 years ago provides more heat and it was under $300. For the price, this should heat better.

Nothing less Nothing more .I put it together so I’m keeping it .The package was put very well together .And if you get this item . Don’t expect much , it’s just a furniture , the fireplace it’s just for look .

Not worth the money for particleboard. Doesn’t heat enough. To use lights with remote u have to stand right in front of it.TV legs didn’t fit. Screw went through and has a bump on top and scratched already at bottom bc it’s so cheap. Buyer beware! Too much trouble to disassemble to send back bc it will break to pieces. Forget about filing a claim. They give you run around. Never again will I purchase something like this online. Lesson learned and out over $700. Ridiculous.

Based on the photos and the price, we expected a higher quality item. When we received our order, the top of the unit had some type of handwriting on it and needed to be replaced. Not a good way to start, especially since I had assembled most of the unit in the middle of our family room before I found out the part was damaged.This is basically overpriced IKEA furniture. We had to buy a piece of glass to put on the top of the unit to dress it up to even use it. The entire shell is flat black fiberboard, not glossy so it really looks cheap. Assembly was very difficult and the directions were very confusing! Bottom line, we will likely sell this and get something better since returning it would be way too difficult.

It came in with a crack on the top. I reached out on a Sun and they got back to me the same day (shocked!). Anyway they said they would send another piece right out. I got a notice the next day, Monday, that I had a piece on the way. Three days later I got it, it went on with no problems and thepiece looks great! I really love the hi-gloss cabinet doors. Exactly what we were looking for.

For the price, the wood material of the media center is avg. The height & width is fine, but the depth is less than desired. so some of the equipments barely fit depth wise.The electric fireplace is great but would have been better if it was bit taller.The packaging was great, the instructions were good. For us, the pieces were all fine except one, the front baseboard. It has wrong shape so makes the table look little bit warped, even though it is not.

All the parts didn’t come at first and I wrote several times to the company because there was no phone number to call. I finally got an answer and we received all the parts. One of the doors had scratches and the promptly sent another one. I like the unit it looks nice and serves the purpose. Just a lot of frustration in the beginning.
